Xiaomi 14 Android 17 Update Tracker: Eligibility, Rollout Status and How to Check

This page tracks the latest Android software status for Xiaomi 14. Android 17 is the current major Android release as of November 2026, but the update is not automatically available for every phone. The rollout depends on the exact model, market, carrier, manufacturer policy, and testing schedule. We separate confirmed releases from beta builds, expected eligibility, and unconfirmed reports.

How to Check for the Android 17 Update

1. Open Settings on Xiaomi 14.
2. Find System Update, Software Update, or the equivalent option for the manufacturer’s interface.
3. Tap Check for updates and wait for the device to contact the update server.
4. Read the version number, build number, region, and changelog before installing.
5. Back up important data, connect to a stable Wi-Fi network, and keep the battery sufficiently charged before updating.

Official Update, Beta, or Expected Eligibility?

Official stable: The manufacturer has released the update for the exact model and region. Beta: A test build is available through an official beta programme and may contain bugs. Expected: The device appears likely to qualify based on its update policy, but the manufacturer has not confirmed or released the update. Keep these statuses separate.

Important Before Installing

Do not install firmware intended for a different model number or region. Avoid unofficial download mirrors and modified packages unless their source and integrity can be verified. If Android 17 is not officially offered for Xiaomi 14, do not describe it as an available official update. We will update this tracker when a verifiable manufacturer announcement or device-specific build becomes available.

Important Compatibility and Safety Notes

Before downloading or installing anything, identify the exact model number and regional variant of your Xiaomi 14. A phone sold under the same marketing name can use different hardware, modem bands, partitions, or firmware in different regions. Never flash a package just because its name looks similar. Match the model code, region, chipset, Android base, and build instructions exactly.

• Use the manufacturer’s official support page or a trusted project page to verify the file and its checksum where provided.
• Back up personal data and confirm that the battery is sufficiently charged before an update, reset, root, or ROM installation.
• Custom ROM installation may require an unlockable bootloader, enabled OEM unlocking, USB debugging, platform-tools, and a device-specific recovery or flashing procedure. Unlocking can erase data and may affect warranty, security features, banking apps, or DRM.
• Do not assume that Android 17, a particular ROM, recovery, kernel, or GCam port is available for every Xiaomi 14. Availability must be confirmed for the exact model and variant.
